Manly Touch is committed to getting back on the touch football field while protecting the community and preventing the spread of COVID-19. Manly Touch has a COVID-19 Safety Plan to help us create and maintain a safe environment for our members. The MWTA Covid-19 Safety Plan supersedes any of our By-Laws and is available on our website https://manlytouch.com/covid-19/
In summary, games will be played as per normal, however all members are encouraged to adopt the ‘Get In. Play and Get Out’ approach.
At the time of publication of this document a number of restrictions have been implemented by the NSW Government to protect us from COVID-19 which are to be adhered to:
- WELL BEING OF MEMBERS – If you feel unwell and/or have visited a hot spot recently to please stay home and you must seek medical clearance before returning. All participants and spectators aged 16 and over that enter Nolan Reserve must be fully vaccinated or have a medical exemption.
- PHYSICAL DISTANCING – Capacity levels must not exceed 1 person per 2 square metres of space, avoid congestion especially around the clubhouse and ensure physical distancing of 1.5m where possible.
- HYGIENE – Please adopt good hand hygiene practices – Hand sanitiser will be available at Nolan Reserve
- RECORD KEEPING – All players, coaches, managers, referees, spectators must check-in at Nolan Reserve using our QR Code via the Service NSW App. QR codes can be found on all field flags, registration folder for each field and around the Clubhouse. If you are not carrying a phone, please visit the Ground Manager’s desk to sign in.
