Vawdon Cup is a weekly representative competition conducted by NSW Touch Association. With teams representing affiliates such as Penrith, Parramatta, Cronulla, Easts, Wollongong, Central Coast and everywhere in between. Vawdon Cup puts you up against some of the best players in the state. 

Games are played throughout the Sydney Metropolitan area catering for Open, Senior and Youth divisions. The competition normally has 8-10 rounds and a final series. 

Games are played weekly on a Friday night with the occasional Sunday double or triple headers. 

Manly Touch has fully accredited coaches in charge of each squad which will help improve your knowledge and skills. Trials and training usually commence in June/July.

Players must be a minimum of 16 years of age to play in the Opens Divisions and must be between 13 to 17 years of age to play Youth League.

Manly Touch are always very well represented at Vawdon Cup with both Men’s Premier League and Women’s Premier League; Men’s and Women’s Divisional teams; and more recently Girls & Boys Youth League teams all participating.

The current Vawdon Cup 2025 competition dates are yet to be released.

Trials will be announced on this website and our social channels. We anticipate trials will commence in late June/July with open training sessions the likely format.

Player Eligibility

There are some age restrictions in regards eligibility to certain teams, as follows:
> Men’s & Women’s Open teams, which includes Premier League & Divisions 1 – 4 ~ Must be born in 2009 or before
> Boy’s & Girl’s Youth League teams ~ Must be born between 2008 and 2012

All players wishing to trial for a Manly Touch Vawdon Cup team must be registered in the 2025 Autumn Competition that is currently underway OR have played in the 2024/2025 Senior Summer Competition.
