The Elite 8 concept was developed with the best of the best joining to compete, with the event running in conjunction with the NTL.
Teams from NSW include the Mavericks, Mets, Rebels and Scorpions, and from Queensland they include the Broncos, Titans and Cowboys and then the Alliance (the best of the rest) compete in both Mens and Womens divisions.
STATE OF ORIGIN
The State of Origin concept was introduced following the creation of the National Touch League. The event was created to continue to build on the rivalry between the two strongest Touch Football states in Australia, New South Wales and Queensland.
